Our roof was leaking and we wanted to redo the entire thing.

I requested a quote around August and Alan was quick to schedule an appointment with me. They were quick to respond and seemed very nice and professional based on our phone conversations. Alan came to my house, went up to take a look at the roof, informed me of everything they would do, and I received a quote the very next day.

Alan was quick to respond to any questions and concerns and he always informed me of what his team was about to do and when they would do it. He always kept me in the loop and there was no funny business.

They always arrived on time when they said they would and cleaned up very well. We had a broom that went missing and Alan had no problem reimbursing me for that without any hassle or issues, which I really appreciated. Honesty and integrity is very important; these qualities can be quite rare nowadays and this interaction left a very good impression on me.

Benefit Roofing was a great find for me! Alan was very thorough explaining all the details about my roof, and what needed to be done. He patiently answered all my questions, and worked to get me the best price on all the materials I really needed to do the job right. He is a stickler for detail, and even had his guys come back out to make little upgrades after his own inspection (which he did twice!).
Alan is very honest, and won't sell you something you don't need. His prices are competitive with at least three other companies I contacted, and his team got the job done in half the time he estimated (the roofers are the fastest in the West!).
Everyone on his team were kind and diligent about their work, and, from demo to clean-up, put forth every effort to make us happy. I strongly recommend them for your next roof!

I'm leaving a review as Alan, the owner, just came by to examine the issues with the roof of my property. Because of the slope of my roof, he recommended me a service he does not provide, rather than sell me his service which he believes is not suitable for me and could be problematic later. In this day and age, it is hard to find someone who's honest, direct and will give genuine advice that does not benefit themselves. Alan is exactly that. I give him the highest of recommendations. If you're skeptical of my review, call Alan out for an assessment and see for yourself!

Alan was so amazing to work with. He is quick to respond to messages and schedule appointments- within a week of reaching out his team assessed and began work on repairing our leaky old roof and they finished the job so fast- I think there were 15 workers there one day to make it happen fast before the rain. The workmanship is exceptional and the prices he quoted us were the best we got. I can't recommend them enough, truly the best in the business! 3 days to completely renew our roof even after they found unexpected wood rot that had to be replaced last minute.

I had a 33 year old wood shingle roof with multiple leaks that could not endure another rainy season. I got about 4-5 estimates before I called Benefit Roofing whose owner, Alan, came out a few days later. He impressed me immediately as he saw details that none of the other roofers noticed. He pointed out that we had a layer of asphalt roof under the wood shakes, which I wasn't aware of. He also saw that there was a seam where the addition met the existing part of the house which wasn't level and would require some adjustments. These were important details that no one else saw and would affect the cost as well as the duration of the job. Alan was the only roofer who inspired my confidence based on his great reviews, attention to detail and responsiveness. His prices were fair and there were no surprises as he's very thorough.

Our job was complicated as we have an unusual, pitched roof with lots of nooks and crannies. We also were replacing our rooftop air conditioner at the same time as the re-roof. The A/C required a custom built platform that took a few months to manufacture. This required a great amount of patience as there were numerous delays. Alan was in communication with the A/C company during this time to coordinate with them and kept me updated. Finally, after signing the contract in late July, our job commenced in early October. I couldn't be happier with the results, it looks amazing! I went with Certainteed Presidential TL Solaris which is the closest thing I could find to wood shake in my price range. Alan's team is top notch and their work is impeccable. They also replaced my old worn out rain gutters that were undersized and falling apart. Alan and his crew did an outstanding job and exceeded my expectations. It was a pleasure working with him and his team.

I normally don't write reviews but I want to show appreciation to this company for being professional and honest. The weather was terrible on the day of appointment and the owner Allen still managed to come over and check our roof. He pointed out our problem immediately and letting me know that their procedure doesn't fit my roof instead of trying to take the job no matter what. I definitely will recommend this company to others in future.

Had a great experience with this roofing company. Their communication was clear and timely. Their evaluation and suggestions were effective and didn't oversell what we needed. Finally, their estimate pricing was fair and competitive. Would recommend!

Communication was perfect from the beginning. We received a QUICK response to our initial inquiry for roof repair. And the follow up was EXCEPTIONAL! Truly like no other business. My experience with other vendors has been that they reply to your initial request for a quote with some general questions, but then it is total ghost town. Not with Alan, we received timely responses from him throughout every stage of the process. We were able to quickly arrange a meeting at the property needing roof repair, and as a result, we received immediate feedback via a detailed and clear proposal for services. Pricing was fair and transparent, everything itemized. And Alan was readily available to answer questions with impressive response time and much appreciated honest answers.

The work itself was terrific, especially considering what they had to deal with - five layers of patches jobs on a home roughly one hundred years old. It is QUALITY workmanship, and aesthetically, well it just looks so PRETTY!

Again, the follow up was PHENOMENAL! I cannot state that enough. Alan consistently updated us on the status of the work. Even after the project was completed, he continued to follow up and reached out to us to see if everything was okay after the rains hit. WOW!!!!! That's EXCELLENT service!

You don't have to worry about checking-in or verifying this or that. It is all being taken care of in a most professional manner. And if he couldn't take care of it himself directly, he would give clear guidance on what we needed to do, like get the smoke detectors form notarized.
